Brian and Nichole’s place is even better than the pictures! Beautifully decorated, extremely clean and well appointed. The location is also fabulous, located on a quite street but walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and a great park. My family was in a bit of a bind finding a new rental at the last minute and Brian and Nichole went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had such a great stay and can’t wait to return!

This Leucadia guest home was exactly what we were looking for--tasteful, clean, and quiet. I loved that it was away from the noise and foot traffic of downtown, and a quick couple of minutes from getting on the highway for day trips to Carlsbad and San Diego. Not only did everyone get their own room (with comfortable beds and quality linens), but there were the added little luxuries of a washer/dryer, AC, and two kinds of ice (!) for potentially broiling summer weather. My only regret is that we didn't get to use the spacious outside deck very much. Would definitely visit again.

We loved this place! Everything in the house was spot on perfect. An interior designer definitely styled out the house. The kitchen was well equipped with a wonderful a Nespresso coffee maker and everything you would need to cook a meal. The deck was fantastic, almost as large as the accommodation interior. The bed linens were fabulous and the beds were very comfortable. This location is top notch. It is just a few minutes walk to several fantastic Encinitas hotspots & fantastic beaches . It was super clean and well prepared for our visit with all of the beach accessories that one could ask for in a house . We would highly recommend this house to anyone. We will definitely be back again.

Brian and Nichole are EXCELLENT hosts, the Leucadia Serene Spot is everything we could have asked for as our last stop on a 2-week West Coast road trip. It was relaxing while close enough to all the action we wanted. First, imagine stepping into a brand-spanking new home slightly off the hustle and bustle. The kitchen has everything you need and was spotless. The shower in the master is spa-worthy and our teenage girls enjoyed their own shower/bath. The deck is fantastic and has places for sunning, shading, and eating. It is accessible from multiple locations, one of which is the master...a nice place to sneak away when you need a breather from the fam! In addition: books, NESPRESSO maker w/ fun flavors, beach chairs, towels, etc. Also, they're a team of personal concierges at the ready to help w/ anything you need...boogie boards, beach recs, extra towels, packing tape... while I am sure they are beautiful people we never saw them once. Impeccable service with no intrusion.

We have visited the greater San Diego region several times and have stayed in a few Airbnbs in San Diego and 3 different Airbnbs in Leucadia. This was by FAR the most luxurious and well-furnished units we’ve experienced in all our visits. The whole home is thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, and well furnished - from the aesthetics, to the bedding, to the patiodeck, to the Nespresso coffee maker. It’s the ideal Leucadia base for a family or group of up to 5-6 adults looking for a place to gather and explore the area.
We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay or enjoyed the house more. The hosts were thoughtful to leave beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas in the attached two-car garage. The location is excellent, with close proximity to the best of Leucadia. Hosts were courteous and prompt in their communication. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to make it back again in the future.
